Principal Contractor Delivery of ECO4 & GBIS Retrofit Works Across Merthyr Tydfil
We supported the delivery of a targeted ECO4 and GBIS-funded retrofit programme across Bridgend, working in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council to address fuel poverty and improve the energy performance of vulnerable households.
Acting as Principal Contractor within the E.ON delivery framework, our role focused on ensuring retrofit measures were appropriately designed, coordinated, and delivered to meet both scheme and resident needs.
Delivery was driven by survey-led assessment and system-based design, allowing measures to be tailored to individual properties rather than applied as standard solutions. We managed retrofit coordination, compliant installation, and scheme oversight, supported by full CDM and HSSE governance. Strong emphasis was placed on resident engagement, safeguarding, and customer satisfaction to ensure a supportive and positive delivery experience.
All works were delivered with full CDM and HSSE oversight, maintaining compliance, safety, and audit-ready assurance across the programme.
